You should have: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping On a typical shift you will inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
