HSE officer — Barton County

Join our team: we are hiring a HSE officer in Barton County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
