Shakeout operator — Washington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Washington County, Utah. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Six days a week, one day off.
