Immediate opening: core maker (Louisiana)

Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Madison Parish, Louisiana. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
