Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Franklin County, Iowa. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving The role involves: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight 5+ years on the tools preferred.
