Immediate opening: we are hiring a gardener in Thomas County, Nebraska. You should have: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors On the job you will handle: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
