Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Claiborne County, Tennessee. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Six days a week, one day off.
