Tower crane operator — Tooele County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Tooele County, Utah. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging You will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
