VMC operator — Yuma County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Yuma County, Colorado. You will work in a toolroom. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges You should have: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
