Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Derby, England. Day to day you will operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
