Scaffolding erector — Cardiff

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Cardiff, Wales. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Able to read basic scaffold drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
