Turning centre operator — Young County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Young County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Rotating shifts.
