Rebar installer • Ikenne, Ogun State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in Ikenne, Ogun State. You will work on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On the job you will handle: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Full-time, day shift.
