Argon welding operator wanted in Marion County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Marion County, South Carolina. You will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
