PVC window assembler — Champaign County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Champaign County, Illinois. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication Requirements: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine 4+ years on the tools preferred.
