Vacancy available: reinforcement steel fixer (Nebraska)

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in McPherson County, Nebraska. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
