Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Bailey County, Texas. The role involves assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits.
