Fettler • Howard County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Howard County, Missouri. You will be based on the moulding line. Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Full-time with occasional weekends.
