MIG/MAG welder — Johnson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Johnson County, Indiana. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
