Head baker wanted in Scotland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a head baker in Scotland County, North Carolina. You will be based in a bread factory. Your main tasks: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Pay around $120 per day, based on your experience.
