Plasterer's mate — Cheboygan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Cheboygan County, Michigan. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. Day-to-day duties: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Requirements: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Full-time, day shift.
