Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Spink County, South Dakota. The job is at a busy distribution depot. On a typical shift you will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off.
