Fusing press operator • Newport County, Rhode Island

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Newport County, Rhode Island. You will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 3+ years on the tools preferred.
