Machinist — Osage County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Osage County, Missouri. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Your main tasks: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
