Elevator service technician wanted in Bremer County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Bremer County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy lift company. On a typical shift you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; run load and overload tests with test weights; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
