Groundsman — Valley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Valley County, Idaho. You will be based in a botanical garden. Your main tasks: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
