Bread and bun maker • Bourbon County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Bourbon County, Kansas. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. Day to day you will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls. Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
