Scaffolding labourer — Essex County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Essex County, Vermont. The job is at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold The role involves: • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
