Vertical transportation technician — Adams County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Adams County, Mississippi. The role involves install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; run load and overload tests with test weights; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
