Safety marshal — Bourbon County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Bourbon County, Kansas. You will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
