Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Stearns County, Minnesota. The job is on a high-rise construction site. You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Your main tasks: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
