Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. The job is in a meat processing plant. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter The role involves keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking.
