Blocklayer • Winneshiek County, Iowa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Winneshiek County, Iowa. You will be based on a new-build development. Your main tasks: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
