Reinforcement steel fixer — Traverse County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Traverse County, Minnesota. On a typical shift you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
