Hydraulic press operator • Chilton County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Chilton County, Alabama. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Day to day you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; record output and downtime on the production sheet; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
