Cold room technician — Alexander County

Join our team: we are hiring a cold room technician in Alexander County, Illinois. You should have: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Clean condenser and evaporator coils Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
