Tyre bay technician wanted in Durham County

Join our team: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Durham County, North Carolina. You will work in a tyre and puncture shop. The role involves: • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine What we are looking for: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly 2+ years on the tools preferred.
