We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Burnett County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Day to day you will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb.
