You will feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
