We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundsman in Polk County, Texas. The job is in a botanical garden. On the job you will handle: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Full-time with occasional weekends.
