Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Bekwarra, Cross River State. The role involves: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
