Immediate opening: we are hiring a car painter in Clatsop County, Oregon. You will be based in a spray booth. On the job you will handle: • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint Requirements: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
