Now hiring: sewing machine operator (Lagos State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Mushin, Lagos State. The job is at a busy garment factory. The role involves: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Full-time, day shift.
