Immediate opening: sausage maker (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sausage maker in Schenectady County, New York. On a typical shift you will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
