Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Wabash County, Indiana. The job is at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 1+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
