Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Oregon)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Crook County, Oregon. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. You will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
