Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Glades County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Give each garment a final press before packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
