Pipe lagger — Washington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Washington County, North Carolina. The job is at a cold storage facility. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles The role involves fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
