Great opportunity: we are hiring a cake decorator in Greene County, Alabama. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Score the top of loaves before baking • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens 2+ years on the tools preferred.
