Foundry labourer wanted in DeKalb County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in DeKalb County, Alabama. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
